About Oceana Cares

We're your neighbours, not just your provider

Oceana Cares was founded by Angela — a disability professional with over 20 years of experience and a mother who understands the journey from the inside. Every person we support is treated with the care she would want for her own children.

Our story

Oceana Cares was founded in 2024 by Angela, who brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in disability support. But Angela's connection to disability goes far deeper than her career — as a mother of seven children, three of whom live with Autism, ADHD, and ARFID, she understands what it truly means to navigate the system as a family.

That lived experience shapes everything about how Oceana Cares operates. Angela built this organisation on a simple promise: to treat every person we support with the same care, patience, and dedication she would want for her own children.

Having spent two decades in the sector, Angela saw firsthand how hard it could be for people with disability and their families to find support that truly understood their lives — support that showed up, listened, and stayed. So she built something different: a provider rooted in the local community, with a team that genuinely cares about the people they support, not just their NDIS plans.

Today, Oceana Cares supports individuals and families across Central West NSW and the Blue Mountains, delivering flexible, person-centred services that help people live the lives they choose.

What we stand for

Person-centred always

Every decision we make starts with you. Your goals, your preferences, and your life guide everything we do.

Genuine connection

We take the time to really know the people we support. Consistency, trust, and real relationships matter to us.

Local knowledge

We know our communities — the services, the people, the places. That local insight makes a real difference in the support we provide.

Respect and dignity

We treat every person with the respect and dignity they deserve, always. No exceptions.

Transparency

We're honest about what we can offer, how we work, and how your NDIS funding is used. No surprises.

Continuous improvement

We're always learning and growing — seeking feedback, refining our practice, and raising the bar for the people we support.
